Frank Gregalit II, MS ES -- Executive Director Hailing from Morgantown, West Virginia, Frank earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in aquatics from West Virginia University in 2004. In 2005 he completed his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. Frank is currently a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. The American College of Sports Medicine has certified Frank as an Exercise Specialist (ES). Before taking the opportunity to come to Georgia, Frank spent a year in Morgantown as the Lighten-Up / HITFIT Director and assisted in the opening of The HIT Center Morgantown in August of 2005. Frank has worked with NFL prospects, NFL players, and the USBL. He has also had the chance to train athletes in high school sports such as football, soccer, lacrosse, track, baseball, and softball. In addition to athletes, Frank has worked with numerous weight loss clients. Many of his clients have: achieved "their lowest weight in years," started running 5K's, and progressed into the HIT FIT program. No matter the program, Frank believes the achievements of his weight loss clients are just as important as the success stories from his athletes.
Emily Gregalit MS -- Lighten-Up/HITFIT Director A native of Morgantown, West Virginia, Emily earned her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology in 2001 graduating Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University. In 2003 she completed her Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. Emily has also been a member of the American College of Sports Medicine allowing her to attend their annual conference and receive the latest in Exercise Physiology research knowledge. As part of her Graduate Assistantship, Emily developed the Physical Activity Policy and Environment Assessment Manual for the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health. Prior to becoming the Director Emily was a client in the HIT FIT program and was trained by her husband, Frank. During that time Emily was employed by Partners in Corporate Health. First managing the corporate fitness center at GE then working with the WV Public Employee Insurance Agency to promote, manage, and monitor health and wellness in the state of West Virginia. In time Emily managed the corporate wellness program of Blue Cross North Eastern Pennsylvania, Dormont Manufacturing, Allegheny Power and others. Throughout her career Emily has had the opportunity to train and interact with clients ranging from those looking to lose weight and improve health, to post operative cardiac patients and the weekend warrior.
