Dan Pickens, ATC – Executive Director

Dan earned his Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from the University of Charleston and his Masters Degree from Marshall University. He was one of the original employees when Dr. Shepherd began The HIT Center in Huntington. Dan has returned to the Huntington HIT Center after two years as the Executive Director of the Lexington HIT Center. Dan’s enthusiasm along with his special interest in young athletes is a incredible addition to The HIT Center.

Amy Hanshaw, MS – Lighten-Up/HIT FIT Director

Amy earned her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from High Point University in 2002 and her Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Marshall University in 2005. Amy has been working in The HIT Center system for 5 years in both Lexington and Huntington.

The HIT Center Huntington also has a number of full time and part time trainers that have or are pursuing their degrees in exercise science fields.
