Lighten-Up Client of the Month: Keri B. Monroe

“My experience with the HIT Center has been wonderful. I have been overweight ever since the birth of my son. At my last testing, I had lost 36 pounds. What I can’t get over is how much better I feel. If you would have told me 5 months ago, that I would be doing the exercises and lifting the weights I now do, I wouldn’t have believed it because I am almost 40 yrs old. This is the first time I have ever been on a program where I feel that I will actually get the weight off and keep it off. I think it is due to the structure of the program. Not only have I changed my eating habits, but I am losing weight, building muscles, and feel wonderful, plus it has given me a real sense of accomplishment. Everyone at the Hit Center has been so supportive and helpful. The trainers are wonderful. At first, I was scared, because I had never lifted free weights before, but they were always patient with me and taught me the correct way to do all the exercises. HIT FIT Client of the Month: John Bloodworth

“I began at the Hit Center in Mid November 2005, and continued for 8 weeks during the most food intensive season of the year: Thanksgiving and Christmas. I went to my sessions like clockwork on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and worked out at least one extra time per week. After the Hit Center’s nutritional counseling, I changed my eating habits to include more protein and less sugar. The benchmark was the Bod Pod evaluation, first in Mid-November and at the end of the 8 weeks during the last week of December. I began at a weight of 208, with fat and muscle content at 41.9% and 58.1%, respectively. I ended the sessions at a weight of 203, and lost 17 pounds of fat and gained 12 pounds of muscle. Even today, I still work out twice per week, and am maintaining a weight of 189lbs. The Hit Center literally changed my life, through personal training sessions, nutrition counseling and motivation.”
