Rick Pounds, MS, CSCS Rick is the Owner/Director of the Lexington HIT Center. He earned his B.H.S from the University of Kentucky in 1983. In 1985 he completed his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Kentucky. He holds several National Certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine: Exercise Test Technologist, Exercise Specialist and Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist. He also holds the Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Over his 20+ years of training Rick has had the opportunity to train athletes ranging from little leaguers to professionals. In 2005 one of his athletes became an NCAA Track and Field Champion. Jeremy Nichols, M.S.,H/FI,CSCS A native of Erlanger, Kentucky, Jeremy earned his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Morehead State University in 2003 and his Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Kentucky in 2005. Jeremy is currently a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American College of Sports Medicine. He is currently certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Health/Fitness Instructor. Jeremy has been working at The HIT Center of Lexington since completing his internship in the spring of 2003 and has since been named as an Assistant Director and Director of the Speed-Up program.
