Speed-up

Excel in your sport.

Achieve that competitive edge.

Make it to the next level.

Regardless of the sport, these are goals all athletes strive to achieve.

The Speed-Up is a six-week, Olympic-caliber athletic development program that delivers:

  • Customized and sport specific exercise programs;
  • Intensive training;
  • One-on-one sessions with an expert in athletic development and human performance;
  • Measurable results.

Through the integration of science and technology, our exercise scientists conduct a 30-point athletic ability assessment that identifies physical capabilities and capacities.  Then, they develop and implement a sport-specific, customized training prescription that provides measurable improvement in running speed, power, agility, quickness and overall body strength.  And, results are achieved faster and in shorter sessions than anyone ever thought possible.

Far from a one-size-fits-all solutions, each training prescription is tailored to the athlete’s capabilities and maximum potential as well as the specific sports played.

TESTING

  • Athletic Ability Assessment:  One-hour testing session that provides a baseline for 30 aspects of your athletic abilities and identifies limitations.  It serves as the foundation for your customized training program.  At the end of the 18-session Speed-Up program, another assessment is conducted and compared to the original one to precisely chart improvement.  Results are also compared to athletes of the same age, gender, sport and position.

CUSTOMIZED TRAINING

The Speed-Up program includes:

  • Sport-specific workout that addresses physical requirements of your sport
  • Sports vision training
  • Anaerobic power training
  • Neurological overspeed training;
  • Speed enhancement training;
  • Strength training for muscle size, muscle power and contraction speed;
  • Conversion of strength to power, speed and explosion;
  • Balance and body control training;
  • Foot-speed, agility, and lateral quickness training;
  • Acceleration, deceleration and changing directions;
  • Energy system training
  • Bat/Arm Speed

TRACKING RESULTS

Throughout the six-week program, your progress in speed, strength, agility, balance and energy are closely monitored and evaluated so you can see your progress. At the end of the training period, another Athletic Ability Assessment will be completed and compared to your initial assessment.  Your results will also again be compared to athletes of the same gender, age, sport and position so you’ll know how you have improved and stack up to the competition.

TESTIMONIALS

“We wanted to find a workout program that would give our son a competitive advantage in sports. We found what we were looking for at The HIT Center. Through plyometric and functional training, we have seen vast improvements  in his athletic performance increasing his speed, agility, quickness, and strength.

At this point we have the offer from Ball State, and as a result of the trip, Purdue is very seriously interested in Daniel. I still believe the vertical is a sticking point with some big ten schools.
However, I think you can see how much he improved as a result of the work at the HIT Center. Thank you for all that you did. I am sure things will continue to pick up on the recruiting trail. We will
re-enroll sometime after the season in preparation for college football. Feel free to use whatever you can from Daniel's improvement as an endoresment for the HIT Center. I believe 100% in your program and only regret that we did not find out about the HIT Center earlier.
GREAT JOB!

Sincerely,

“As a pre athlete I thought I was in pretty good shape before I started training at the HIT center. They took me to another level. It was as if I was being trained as an elite athlete. The technologies I was exposed to training there were equivalent to pro athlete training at the highest level. It was a real confidence boost going into camp knowing I was in better shape than almost everyone there. On the field my body can keep up with my mind after this training. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone interested”
