Ryan Ludwig, Executive Director

Education:

  • Truman State University – Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science

Prior to joining The HIT Center team, Ryan accumulated over eight years of sales and management experience in multiple industries. A native of Oswego, Illinois, Ryan was a four year starter at cornerback for the Truman State University Bulldog football team. Although a team captain and two time collegiate All-Conference selection, Ryan lists winning the 1992 IHSA Class 4A State Football Championship his most memorable athletic accomplishment.
Ryan and his loving wife Angie reside in Dardenne Prairie, MO and have two children; Lucas and Michael. He is a coach at heart and has experience at all ages in coaching baseball, basketball and football. Hobbies include: golf, running, biking, and hiking. Ryan is excited to help bring The HIT Center to the area and looks forward to helping all clients achieve their goals.

Betsy Godar, Speed-Up Director

Education:

  • Lindenwood University - Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training
  • Southern Illinois University Carbondale – Master’s Exercise Science

Certifications: 

  • Certified Athletic Training
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
  •  American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Instructor

Before joining HIT Centers Betsy was working at Washington University in St Louis as a Certified Athletic Trainer.  She was the athletic trainer for the women’s basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, and men’s and women’s cross country teams.  She completed her Master’s of Exercise Science at SIUC while working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.  Betsy earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training at Lindenwood University while playing 4 years of collegiate basketball.   She has completed her first marathon and is training to compete in a triathlon.

Kevin Bohnert, Exercise Scientist

Education:

  • Missouri State University-Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise and Movement Sciences

Certifications:

  • National Strength and Conditioning Association- Certified Personal Trainer
  • American Red Cross First Aid and CPR

Kevin graduated in the fall of 2007 from Missouri State University where he obtained his B.S. in Exercise and Movement Science. While in Springfield he interned at St. John’s-Healthtracks where he trained athletes.

Michael Fisher, Exercise Scientist

Education:

  • Lindenwood University – Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training
  • Lindenwood University – Master’s of Art in Sport Management

Certifications: 

  • Certified Athletic Training
  • American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Instructor

Prior to starting at the HIT Centers Michael was a Certified Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Lindenwood University.  He was the athletic trainer for the men’s soccer, men’s basketball, and baseball teams.  Michael taught First Aid, CPR, and AED classes while working towards his Sport Management degree at Lindenwood.  He was the head Athletic Trainer for the River City Rascals Professional Minor League Baseball team during their 2007 season.  Michael was a member of the Australian Under 19 Baseball Squad before coming to the United States to compete for the Lindenwood baseball team while attaining his Athletic Training degree.  Michael is still active and looking to compete in his first triathlon this summer.

Aaron Randolph, Exercise Scientist

Education:

  • Southeast Missouri State University-Bachelor’s of Science in Health Human Performance and Recreation: Exercise Science

Certifications:

  • American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer
  • American Red Cross First Aid and CPR
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Test Date Pending

Aaron started his career as a personal trainer in Cape Girardeau Missouri where he worked at Southeast Hospital’s HealthPoint Plaza. There he trained athletes under the Sports Max Sport Performance Program and Sportsmetrics USA. Also while at HealthPoint Aaron taught a self developed Sports Fitness class he called Peak Performance or P2. In his spare time Aaron is a competitive amateur natural bodybuilder. Aaron plans on attending graduate school and working towards his master’s in Health Management.

Tommy Donovan, Exercise Scientist

Education:

  • Missouri State University-Bachelor’s of Science in Recreation-Emphasis in Health and Wellness Promotion

Certifications:

  • American Red Cross First Aid and CPR
  • National Strength and Conditioning Association- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (Test date pending)

Prior to The HIT Center, Tommy completed his course work at Missouri State University. During the spring of 2007 he interned at St. Johns Healthtracks in Springfield, MO assisting in sports performance training. Tommy has a background in football and wrestling.

Christy Fansher, Exercise Scientist

Education:

  • Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville – Bachelor’s of Kinesiology.

Certifications:

  • American Red Cross First Aid, CPR & AED Certified.
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
  • Certified Personal Trainer & Aerobic Instructor.

For the last four years Christy has enjoyed the benefits of being a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and being apart of personal success’. Christy has also enjoyed four years of being an Instructor of group aerobics. Christy earned her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology at Southern Illinois University. In addition to regular training, Christy has completed numerous races and half-marathons, Boston someday to be her final goal! Married, eight years with a beautiful daughter that is 4 years old.
