Brenda Buffington, MS – Operations Manager

While earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Education at the University of Pittsburgh, Brenda also competed in Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field for the University. After completing her BS in Education, Brenda earned a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University. After graduation, Brenda began her teaching career at the elementary level eventually progressing to the collegiate level as a Biological and Physical Sciences professor at Columbus State Community College and Otterbein College. Brenda is also the Head Girls Track Coach at Olentangy Liberty High School where she is beginning her 20th year of coaching.

Brenda has also competed in three marathons and countless road races.

Nick Cook, CSCS – Speed Up Director

Nick graduated Mount Union College with a BS in Exercise Science in 2002. While attending Mount Union, Nick was a three-year letterman for the football team and was an integral part of three NCAA Division II National Championships. These teams also hold the record for most consecutive wins (54) in college football history. After graduation Nick began his career as a member of the Ohio State University Football Strength and Conditioning staff. In his first year on the staff, Ohio State posted a perfect 14-0 record and won the NCAA Division I National Championship.

Since 2002 Nick has trained hundreds of athletes through performance enhancement camps and personal training including: Brady Quinn, Troy Smith, Mike Furrey, Chris Gamble and Will Smith to name a few.
